Graham works for Wycliffe Bible Translators in High Wycombe, where he is responsible for the Wycliffe magazine and other publicity.

Graham says…

“The world wide church is growing - more than 70,000 new believers every day , and a church established among more than half the peoples of the world since 1900!

But numerical growth isn’t enough. Jesus told his followers to make disciples, not just converts. It is very difficult to make disciples without God’s word in a language people can understand! However, at the current rate of progress by all translation agencies it will take 100 - 150 years to reach all peoples.

By the year 2025, together with partners world-wide, we aim to see a Bible tranlation programme begun in all the remaining languages that need one. That means completing 1000 current projects and starting 2000 more!

We won’t achieve this by adding to our workload or by adding more recruits. We must multiply ourselves by shifting our focus more from doing to training others to do it.

Humanly, the goal is impossible. But with God…”
