This site uses WordPress as a content management system, using the Pages and Posts facility within WordPress.
I use a child theme of the default Twenty Ten core theme, as this gives a very readable layout. I use the WP Geo plugin to record locations of the events recorded in this account, and the Default Sort Ascend plugin to make the story read from beginning to end, unlike a standard blog.

For some reason WP 2.8.4 onwards does not like dates earlier than 01/01/1970; there is a nasty hack of one of the core files but at least the bug is on the WP trac system. For more details see this support thread.
